This is just a boot and not the knob right? if I ordered the c short shifter together with this boot, would this fit?

Yes, this is only for shift boot. If for MR2 model is selected, the boot will fit together with the C's short shifter once installed on the OEM surround trim
Could you make a boot that fits snug inside a 1990 Ford Probe Automatic transmission bezel? We are converting an Automatic Probe to a Manual using a 1993 Ford Probe transmission and shifter and are looking for a boot that will fit in the 1990 bezel and be tall enough for the 1993 shifter. Thanks
